2016~2017 Academic Year IUT Admission Plan

 

1. Departments & Student Population

​​2. Application Qualifications:

  • Lyceum, college or high school graduates from domestic or foreign schools;
  • National or international graduates-to-be from the first half of 2016;
  • Applicants who passed the English Proficiency Requirements

3. English Proficiency Requirements:

  • IELTS score higher or equal to 5.0, or TOEFL iBT score higher or equal to 50 for SOCIE school
  • IELTS score higher or equal to 6.0, or TOEFL iBT score higher or equal to 75 for SOL school

Results of the IELTS and TOEFL tests are required to be submitted by the orientation date (July 28, 2016).

4. IUT Entrance Exam

  • IUT Orientation date – Thursday, July 28, 2016.
  • IUT Entrance Exam date- Friday, July 29, 2016.
  • Subjects for SOCIE school:
    • Mathematics in written form, 20 questions (60 minutes)
    • Physics in written form, 20 questions (60 minutes)
    • Maximum possible score is 100 points.

Total score is calculated by sum of 60% of mathematics and 40% of physics scores.

  • Subject for SOL school:
    • Mathematics in written form, 20 questions (60 minutes)
    • Maximum possible score is 100 points.

- Scope of Possible Questions are based on educational standards from high schools in Korea and Uzbekistan

Application Procedure

Applying for IUT Admission

Undergraduate applicants can apply to IUT Entrance Exam through taking the following steps:

1. Fill-in the application form at IUT homepage.

2. Submit the scanned version of the following documents (JPEG):

a. Language Proficiency (at least IELTS 5.0 for SOCIE school and 6.0 for SOL school / TOEFL IBT 50 for SOCIE school and 75 for SOL school)

b. A copy of passport or residence permit

c. Diploma from Lyceum/College or a verification letter from Lyceum/College

d. Image photo (taken within 3 months) - 3.5 x 4.5cm;

IUT begins to accept applications for Pre-University Course

We are happy to announce that the Admissions process to IUT Pre-University Course is now open. We have two good news for our new generation of applicants.

Number one - from this year we are launching a two-year preparatory program. This was a long waited event since many parents have been requesting to provide this type of study program. From now on 1st and 2nd year students of academic lyceums and professional colleges have a great chance to study at Inha University preparatory courses for two years. This will enable them to improve their Math, Physics and English language skills further and be ready for an academic life at our University.

Number two – second-year lyceum and college students will have three opportunities to take entrance examination to IUT within a two year program.
