Introduction

The goal of ICE Department is to cultivate highly-motivated and well-trained professionals who will lead the Information Society. The Department of Information and Communication Engineering offers various specialized 
educational programs to cultivate competent engineers with profound knowledge of academic theories and practical methods to contribute to the development of human society. 

Program Objectives

Acquisition of technical skills and problem-solving abilities:  Cultivate problem-solving abilities using technical skills in the field of information and communication engineering.

Creative thinking and design abilities:  Cultivate abilities to analyze and design a system, component, or process in the field of information and communication engineering based on the knowledge of basic science and creative thinking.

Global competitiveness and self-improvement:  Cultivate highly-motivated and well-trained professionals who can contribute to the development of our country and human society through advanced knowledge and life-long learning.

Program Information 

The undergraduate curriculum relies on extensive hands-on experiments. In particular, the intermediate level includes basic courses in the field of information and communication engineering, such as "Wired/wireless communications", "Internet communications", and "Multimedia processing". Furthermore, the advanced level provides various advanced courses which can be chosen by students according to their interests and career goals. 

Vision after Graduation 

Graduates of the Department of Information and Communication Engineering at IUT are well qualified to compete for a diverse array of career opportunities including working for major corporations, research labs, applying for graduate schools, or studying abroad.

IN FOCUS

Benefits for Pre-University students

Inha University in Tashkent provides following benefits to the students of the Pre-University courses:

  • Students will be exempted from taking the IUT entrance examination if they get 60 points for each subject during the final examination.
  • Only Pre-University students have a second chance to take the entrance examination.
  • First and second year students of colleges and academic lyceums will become the IUT students after a successful completion of their studies.
  • Pre-University students have an opportunity to use the university facilities.
