IUT students familiarize themselves with cultural and historic sights of South Korea
Students of Inha University in Tashkent visited cultural and historical sights of the Republic of Korea.
It should be recalled that about 100 fourth-year students of Inha University in Tashkent are being studying in South Korea.
Administration of Inha University in the Republic of Korea organized a tour for cultural and historical attractions of South Korea to students from Uzbekistan.
On the first day of the trip, students of Uzbekistan visited five cities of South Korea. In particular, students paid visit to Boryeong and climbed to the mountain.
The Uzbek students started their second day with climbing to Naksan Mountains and walked along the Naksan beach.
During the visit, IUT students visited Samcheok Ocean Railbike and enjoyed sea views during travel on railway bicycles.
Students from Uzbekistan Uzbekistan got acquainted with the Buddhist Temple of Bulguksa in Gyeongju city. The temple complex of Bulguksa contains seven objects that are included in the list of National Treasures of South Korea: the stone pagodas of Dabotap and Seokgatap, the bridge of the Cheongun-gyo (blue cloud bridge) and the Baegun-gyo (white clouds bridge), the Yeonhwa-gyo (lotus bridge) and Chilbo-gyo (the seven treasure bridge), two sitting statues of Buddha Vairocana and Amita.
The tour was completed with a visit to Tumuli Park, a famous funeral complex consisting of 23 royal tombs of the Silla Dynasty. The exposition contains relics of the earliest periods of Korean history, including crowns, ritual apparel, vessels and various religious objects.
