IUT professor Khusniddin Olimov presented a lecture at international school of young scientists

Professor of the Inha University in Tashkent (IUT), Doctor of Science (DSc) in physics and mathematics Khusniddin Olimov took part in the 5th International school of young scientists of Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) “Adjacent problems of physics and astrophysics of particles of ultra-high energies” in Kazakhstan.

The event was conducted at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU, Almaty) from 26 August to 1 September 2018, organized jointly by Lebedev Physics Institute of Russian Academy of Sciences, Al-Farabi KazNU, and Physical-technical institute (Almaty) at the sponsorship of Intergovernmental Foundation on Scientific and Cultural Cooperation among countries of CIS.

It is pleasant to mention that professor of Inha University in Tashkent (IUT), Doctor of Science (DSc) in physics and mathematics Khusniddin Olimov became the first scientist from Uzbekistan, who was invited to participate, as a lecturer-expert, at this traditional annual international school conducted for the fifth time.

The main aim of this international school is to prepare the motivated and qualified young scientists in the field of high energy physics and astrophysics and strengthen the educational, scientific, and cultural ties among the countries of Commonwealth of Independent States.

Lecturers-experts from leading scientists in the field of high energy nuclear physics and astrophysics as well as attendees – young scientists and PhD students from Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Moldova, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan, total more than 60 people, participated in the work of the international school. 

It is worth mentioning that the lecture and talk of Doctor of Science (DSc) Khusniddin Olimov was admitted as one of the best by both attendees and organizers of the school and, therefore, was marked by the certificate and memorable gift.

Benefits for Pre-University students

  • Students will be exempted from taking the IUT entrance examination if they get 60 points for each subject during the final examination.
  • Only Pre-University students have a second chance to take the entrance examination.
  • First and second year students of colleges and academic lyceums will become the IUT students after a successful completion of their studies.
