PC Labs

There are 3 main PC labs which are available for use by IUT students and staff members. Total number of PC is 150, which are equipped with the latest hi-tech equipment.

All the PCs have an access to high-speed Internet so the students can do researches correlated to their studies. Visual Studio Professional 13 is installed in all PCs which allows to write C++ programs to learn fundamentals of OOP (Object Oriented Programming). All classes are carried in English by using Deitel Developer series book C++
for programmers.

These labs are considered for the study and work related tasks. The labs have exact usage schedule for teaching purposes and you may be requested to vacate a lab to allow the professors to commence the lessons.

Lesson schedule can be found next to Lab doors and the schedule can be changed within a short time.

The main objective of PC lab is to learn fundamental concepts of object-oriented programming and to practice them with C++. 
1. Course Objectives: To become familiar with object-oriented programming and to apply knowledge of mathematics, basic science and engineering 
Relation with Program Outcomes: PO 1 
2. Course Objectives: To understand the concepts of object-oriented programming and master OOP using C++ 
Relation with Program Outcomes: PO 1,5 
3. Course Objectives : To apply concepts of object-oriented programming to real world problems 
Relation with Program Outcomes : PO 2,3,4,5

At the PC lab, the students will be covering advanced topics such as operator overloading, inheritance, exception handling, templates, polymorphism, stream input and output, and file processing. This becomes very essential part of all information technologies.

Rules

After logging on to any lab PC or group study pod you are agreeing to obey the rules and etiquette                                                            that specifically cover the use of these facilities.

  • The usage of the PCs must intended for University related work only.
  • Do not log in to more than one computer at a time.
  • Do not leave belongings unattended.
  • Do not leave a computer unattended while you are logged in.
  • Do not attempt to alter the computer system in any way or for any purpose. You will receive prior warning to save your work.
  • Obey the instructions of University staff on all matters relating to the PC labs.

No eating or drinking in the PC labs.

Benefits for Pre-University students

Inha University in Tashkent provides following benefits to the students of the Pre-University courses:

  • Students will be exempted from taking the IUT entrance examination if they get 60 points for each subject during the final examination.
  • Only Pre-University students have a second chance to take the entrance examination.
  • First and second year students of colleges and academic lyceums will become the IUT students after a successful completion of their studies.
  • Pre-University students have an opportunity to use the university facilities.
