About Student Clubs

Sports Club of IUT is a student organization, supported by the University and formed by students motivated by a common interest and desire to participate in a favorite sport activity. The clubs of the Sports Department vary in focus, since student members manage the operation of the club and decide on club activities.

Clubs offer opportunities for learning a new sport, improving existing sport skills, practicing and playing for fun, and/or competing at various levels. Clubs offer development of valuable leadership skills, through successful management of administrative affairs and intra-club dynamics.

Sports Club, a club within Campus Recreation Facilities.  Clubs must operate within IUT Sports Clubs framework of policies and procedures, which are in place to promote safety and manage risk.  

How to become a member?

All officially enrolled students, faculty and staff of IUT are eligible to join a sport club as a regular member. 

Each club member is responsible for representing IUT in a respectable manner, including meeting the regulations set by the University.  This includes but is not limited to appropriate behavior and avoiding breaches and violations.

Current clubs

Currently, Student club is running a football club, a chess club, and a table tennis club. Members of clubs meet up either during the week or on weekends to play pick-up games. They organize different championships within university. Good sportsmanship and the safety of the players are the top priority besides just having fun. Clubs are open to guys and girls of all skill levels.

Benefits for Pre-University students

Inha University in Tashkent provides following benefits to the students of the Pre-University courses:

  • Students will be exempted from taking the IUT entrance examination if they get 60 points for each subject during the final examination.
  • Only Pre-University students have a second chance to take the entrance examination.
  • First and second year students of colleges and academic lyceums will become the IUT students after a successful completion of their studies.
  • Pre-University students have an opportunity to use the university facilities.
