School of Logistics

Innovation in logistics is at the core of national and corporate competitiveness in the 21st century. The study of logistics examines the strategies and technologies to optimize the flow of products, services, information and knowledge in the production and distribution activities of a business in the global market and thus reduce costs and improve customer service. In addition it includes the study of policies, plans, and operations related to port, airport, road, and railroad for maximizing national competitiveness

About School of Logistics

School of Logistics (SOL) cultivates highly motivated and well-trained professionals who will lead Central Asian manufacturing, transport and communication networking, warehouse and packaging industries.

The SOL program is designed to provide students with profound knowledge of academic theories and practical methods in Logistics, Management, Information, and Entrepreneurship required for immediate entry into the job market. This program is comparable to many prestigious business and logistics courses offered in the Republic of Korea.

Therefore, it allows students to experience a quality Korean education in business and logistics.

Program Goal

The goal of SOL is to build up students’ core Functional Knowledge, clear Communication Skills, clean Ethical Awareness, and clever Global Awareness.

Functional Knowledge

  • Acquisition of major knowledge in logistics
  • Awareness of the principles and role of major discipline within a strategic business framework

Communication Skills

  • Capability of working with others in diverse environments and development of leaderships
  • Clear delivery of ideas in both oral and written forms
  • Proficiency in the use of ICT

  • Recognition of potential ethical issues that occur when making business decisions
  • Awareness of ethical responsibilities as professionals

Global Awareness

  • Capability of business decision making by recognizing global and cultural diversity issues
  • Capability of analyzing the impact of globalization on logistics

IN FOCUS

IUT begins to accept applications for Pre-University Course

We are happy to announce that the Admissions process to IUT Pre-University Course is now open. We have two good news for our new generation of applicants.

Number one - from this year we are launching a two-year preparatory program. This was a long waited event since many parents have been requesting to provide this type of study program. From now on 1st and 2nd year students of academic lyceums and professional colleges have a great chance to study at Inha University preparatory courses for two years. This will enable them to improve their Math, Physics and English language skills further and be ready for an academic life at our University.

Number two – second-year lyceum and college students will have three opportunities to take entrance examination to IUT within a two year program.
