“Orientation Day” for all registered applicants was held at Inha University in Tashkent on the 6-7th of June, 2019.
The authority of Inha University in Tashkent provided detailed information of entrance exams and admission rules for the 2019-2020 academic year.
Applicants gained an understanding of the conditions and procedures of the entrance examination. Moreover, the authority of Inha University in Korea gave practical recommendations and answered the questions from applicants.
Each entrant was wearing a bracelet with an individual ID number.
The second of three entrance exams in 2019 will be held at Inha University in Tashkent on the 8-9th of June.
In the 2019-2020 school year, IUT is planning to accept 420 students. In particular, the university will accept 300 students to the SOCIE and 120 students to the SOL.
It should be noted that IUT Entrance exam will be offered three times this year unless the quota is filled:
1) On a Contract based admission
2) On a Scholarship and Contract-Based Admission
3) On a Contract based admission
During the entrance exams, the prospective students will answer 20 questions on each subject in written form. 60 minutes will be given for the answers for each subject. The exam questions are formed on standard curriculum for secondary education. Total score for SOCIE is calculated by the sum of 70% of mathematics and 30% of physics scores. For SOL, math exam will only be given to the prospective students.
In order to conduct and control an open and transparent examination process, the entire faculty members of Inha University in South Korea arrived at Inha University in Tashkent.
Also, Inha University in Tashkent invited representatives of the Uzbek mass media to attend the entrance examinations and receive all relevant information on an admission for the 2019-2020 academic year.
It should be noted that in each examination room there is a live broadcast, which allows parents of applicants and everyone to watch the whole examination process online.
