Admission Guideline for the 2021-2022 Academic year

It is also noted that the admission quota may not be completely filled in case the evaluation of document review and interview are lower than the passing score set by the Admission Committee of Inha University.

 

2. Eligibility for the 2021-2022 Admission 

2.1 IUT General Admission

Those students who satisfy all of the following are eligible for the General Admission.
 – Domestic or foreign university graduates or graduates-to-be in the first half of the year 2021.
 – Applicants who hold a domestic passport. Those students who hold a Korean passport are NOT
   eligible for IUT General Admission. Applicants with dual citizenship (Korean and Uzbekistan) are
   regarded as Korean citizens.

Applicants for the General Admission should meet the English Proficiency Requirements.

Minimum Requirement for
Official English Test Score

IELTS : 5.5 or higher /  TOEFL iBT : 71 or higher /   Duolingo : 90 or higher

For those students who apply the 1st General Admission should submit either IELTS or TOEFL iBT certificate by May 3rd (Mon). The certificate should be issued within two years from the date of submission to IUT. Please note that there is no extension to the submission due date.
For those students who apply the 2nd General Admission should submit either IELTS or TOEFL iBT or Duolingo certificate by August 20 (Fri). The certificate should be issued within two years from the date of submission to IUT. Please note that there is no extension to the submission due date.

Please, note that for those students who have completed a higher education (university) taught in English, IELTS or TOEFL iBT or Duolingo certificate is exempted by submitting the certificate or the official letter issued by the higher education (university) that certifies they were taught in English. In this case, the deadline of submission is the same date for each General Admission and the English score of the applicant is considered IELTS 5.5(TOEFL iBT 71, Duolingo 90).


2.2 International Student Special Admission

Those students who satisfy all of the following are eligible for the International Student Special  Admission.
– Domestic or foreign university graduates or graduates-to-be in the first half of the year 2021.
– Applicants who hold a foreign passport. Those students who hold a Korean passport are ELIGIBLE for IUT International Student Special Admission.

Applicants for the International Student Special Admission should meet the English Proficiency Requirements.

3. Admission Process for the 2021-2022 Admission

The successful candidates must complete their registration and pay the deposit(25% of the tuition) by 5:00 pm on May 21st (Fri), 2021; otherwise, the qualification of successful candidates will be no longer valid and canceled.

The successful candidates must pay the 1st semester tuition by 5:00 pm on June 25th (Fri), 2021; otherwise, the qualification of successful candidates will be no longer valid and canceled.

 

(2) 2nd General Admission

   The application for 2nd General opens on May 6th (Thu), 2021.
   The application deadline for 2nd General is 5:00 pm on July 16th (Fri), 2021.

   All students who apply for the 2nd General Admission should pay the application fee of UZS 300,000
   by 5:00 pm, July 19th (Mon), 2021.

4. Application Procedure and Required Documents

All domestic and international students (foreign passport holder) must visit the website (inha.uz/pages/216) to get the information for the IUT Admission Guideline for 2021-2022 Academic Year.
All domestic and international students must visit the online application site (admissions-graduate.inha.uz) to complete the IUT admission application and upload all required scanned documents listed below.

  <Scanned Documents required to be uploaded for all applicants (JPEG, PNG)>

    1. Copy of passport or residence permit (For international students, passport only)

    2. Copy of diploma from university or verification certificate including enrollment
        certificate from university

    3. Copy of transcript from university

    4. Electronic photo taken within last 3 months(3.5 cm ×4.5 cm)

    5. Official English proficiency test certificate (IELTS/ TOEFL iBT/ Duolingo) or
        the official letter issued by the higher education (university) that certifies
        they were taught in English

    6. Personal Statement(Provided form_DOWNLOAD)
        – Applicants should fill out thePersonal statement form provided above
          and upload the scanned one with his/her signature.

 

All of the required documents listed above, especially the Official English Proficiency Test certificate or the official letter issued by the higher education(university) that certifies the students were taught in English, must be submitted by the deadline.

PLEASE be informed that if the submitted documents, especially Official English Proficiency Test certificate or the official letter issued by the higher education(university) that certifies the students were taught in English, are intentionally fabricated or forged, a criminal complaint will be filed against the applicants.

Any application form and documents through email will not be accepted.

 

5. Tuition

    Please note that tuition for domestic students (Citizens of Uzbekistan) shall be paid in Sums
   (Uzbek currency) and international students (foreign passport holder) in US Dollars.
