Please, note that students who are admitted to the SOCIE will be assigned to one of two departments (CSE and ICE) by the regulation of IUT after completing the first year of the education program at IUT.
Please, note that students who apply to SBL MUST choose between Business Administration (70 students) and Logistics (50 students). Students CANNOT apply for both majors at the same time.
Among Pre-University students who take the final examination, 81 students (up to 30% of 270) for SOCIE and 21 students for Business Administration and 15 students for Logistics (up to 30% of 120) for SBL can be admitted.
It is also noted that the admission quota may not be completely filled in case the students’ scores of the entrance exam (IUT Entrance Examination Admission), the Pre-University final exam (Pre-University Final Examination Admission), or the evaluation of document review and interview (International Student Special Admission) are lower than the passing score set by the Admission Committee of Inha University.
2. Eligibility for the 2022-2023 Admission
2.1 IUT Entrance Examination Admission
● Domestic or foreign lyceum, college or high school graduates or graduates-to-be in the first half of the year 2022. Those students who hold a Korean passport are not eligible for IUT Entrance Examination Admission. Applicants with dual citizenship (Korean and other country) are regarded as Korean citizens.
For those students who pass the entrance exam should meet the English Proficiency Requirements.

Please, note that those who have completed secondary education (High school) or higher education (University) taught in English in the country that uses English as their native or legal official language shall be exempted from submitting the official English test score.
2.2 Pre-University Final Examination Admission (Undergraduate Program)
Those students who satisfy all of the following are eligible for the Pre-University Final Examination Admission.
● Domestic or foreign lyceum, college or high school graduates or graduates-to-be currently enrolled as the Pre-University program students. Those students who hold a Korean passport are not eligible for Pre-University Final Examination Admission. Applicants with dual citizenship (Korean and other country) are regarded as Korean citizens.
For those students who pass the Pre-University Final Examination should meet the English Proficiency Requirements.

2.3 International Students Special Admission
2.3.1 International Students Special Admission
Those students who satisfy all of the following are eligible for the International Student Special Admission.
● Domestic (Uzbekistan) or foreign lyceum, college or high school graduates or graduates-to-be in the first half of the year 2022.
● Applicants who hold a foreign passport (other than Uzbekistan). Those students who hold a Korean passport are not eligible for International Student Special Admission. Applicants with dual citizenship (Korean and other country) are regarded as Korean citizens.
For those students who pass the International Student Special Admission should meet the English Proficiency Requirements.

Please, note that those who have completed higher education (University) taught in English in the country that uses English as their native or legal official language or domestic (Uzbekistan) higher education (University) taught in English shall be exempted from submitting the official English test score.
2.3.2 Korean nationals residing abroad Admission
● Students who are eligible for the qualification of Korean Nationals Residing Abroad special admission for 2022 at Inha University or have completed the entire elementary, middle, high school education outside Korea.

Admission fee is collected for all exams (except for the Pre-University Exam).

The 3rd exam will be offered after considering current admission state of affairs and non-admissions status of the previous year.

The students are required to apply for either SOCIE or SBL, not both.
Only for SOCIE program, there are two different admission selection tracks: contract-based and scholarship-based admission (this provision applies only to SOCIE program).
A total number of 30 Scholarship-based admission track students will be selected and granted scholarship based on the test evaluation score ranking.
Those students who satisfy all of the following are eligible for the scholarship-based admission:
- Minimum passing criteria for scholarship-based admission: Above minimum score of contract-based admission track
successful candidates.
- Students CANNOT apply for scholarship-based admission 2nd exam and contract-based admission exam at the same time.
- 30 students will be selected and granted scholarship based on the test evaluation score ranking.
– In case of a tie in the evaluation passing scores, all the students of tie scores will be selected in the following order:
① Applicants with excellent Math scores
② Applicants with excellent English proficiency test
③ Applicants with later birth date
※ OMR Cards will be used for the written test(Multiple Choice Questions)
– No wrong answer penalties

Special benefit of Admission: Pre-University program students will be offered a final exam upon completion of the regular period, excellent students with outstanding results will be granted a special privilege by IUT.
Students can apply for scholarship-based admission exam and contract-based admission exam each time.
Preliminary-Pass Criteria: Excellent students irrespective of their grade can be selected even before completing formal education. Successful candidates who pass the final exam this year but do not meet the qualification of lyceum/college/high school diploma or equivalent before the beginning of 2022-2023 academic year, will be allowed to enter IUT only after obtaining their diploma from their lyceum/college/high school or equivalent.
3.1.3 Other
If it is difficult to conduct the written test offline due to the severe COVID-19 situation, the 2021/2022 IUT online entrance exam method can be applied and tests can be conducted online.

① Applicants with excellent interview scores
② Applicants who have attended more middle and high school semesters abroad.
③ Applicants who resided abroad for a long time (who have many days of substantial stay abroad)
4. Application Procedure & Required Documents
4.1. Regular Admission

Required documents (to submit online)
- Copy of passport or residence permit
- Copy of Diploma from lyceum/college/high school or verification certificate including enrollment certificate from lyceum/college/high school
- Copy of transcript from lyceum/college/high school
- Electronic photo taken within last 3 months – 3.5 cm ×4.5 cm
- Official English proficiency test certificate (IELTS/ TOEFL iBT) or the official letter issued by the secondary or higher education that certifies they were taught in English
All of the required documents listed above, especially the Official English Proficiency Test certificate, must be submitted by the deadline.
PLEASE be informed that if the submitted documents, especially Official English Proficiency Test certificate or the official letter that certifies the students were taught in English, are intentionally fabricated or forged, the applicants’ admission will be canceled and a criminal complaint will be filed against them at any time.
