On October 10, as part of the two-day CSS 2024 summit, which brought together leading industry experts from around the world, panel discussions were held. The Rector of Inha University in Tashkent took part in a panel discussion on the topic “Educating, training and employing the current and next generation of Uzbekistan’s cyber security experts.”
During the discussion, participants addressed key issues related to workforce development in the rapidly evolving field of cybersecurity. They examined modern challenges faced by educational institutions in training specialists, ways to adapt curricula to the swiftly changing industry demands, and prospects for collaboration between universities and companies to ensure effective employment for graduates. Special attention was given to the development of skills necessary for students to work in the face of cyberattacks and to protect Uzbekistan’s critical infrastructure.
Inha University in Tashkent’s participation in such discussions reaffirms its active role in preparing highly qualified specialists who will play a key role in ensuring the country’s digital security.
