I’d like to congratulate you on your successful completion of the academic year.
As you all know that in 2020 – the year of “Development of science, education and digital economy”, the Government of our country pays special attention and high confidence in the specialists trained in the field of information technology. In order to justify this trust, it is important for you to study well, keeping up the constant research and work on yourselves and eventually to become mature specialists in accordance with the needs of our time.
We are proud of our students who are making great strides with their innovative projects that set an example for other students in achieving this goal.
I believe and hope for your increased efforts on putting your innovative ideas into practice even during the summer holidays. We are always ready to support and create the necessary conditions for you.
In this regard, I should mention that we are organizing distance learning events and online master classes for our students to make the most of the summer holidays.
In the mean time, I would like to give you a brief overview of the work done on process of obtaining the state accreditation for Inha University in Tashkent.
In order to prepare for the process of state accreditation, the University has appointed members of the commission for state certification and accreditation of Inha University in Tashkent in accordance with the internal order No.16 from February 27, 2020.
The members of this commission, together with specialists from the relevant departments of the University, worked on the preparation of relevant tables on the internal report and indicators of the University in accordance with the criteria for the certification of higher education institutions.
Additionally, the relevant supporting documents related to the educational process of the university were prepared and compiled. Simultaneously, in accordance with the criteria of state accreditation, list of relevant subjects and list of students have been formed in order to analyze the knowledge assimilation level of subject programs of the university for our students.
In March 2020, in accordance with the requirements of the state accreditation, the report on internal evaluation of the university was submitted to the State inspectorate for supervision of quality in education under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistanalong with the relevant supporting documents.
The process of state accreditation of the University has begun from April, 2020in accordance with the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on June 7, 2019 No.470 “On improving the procedure for certification and state accreditation of state educational institutions and non-governmental educational institutions” and with the approved schedule for state accreditation of educational institutions of the State inspectorate for supervision of quality in education.
Based on the schedule of the State inspectorate for supervision of quality in education under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan the expert commission had been expected to conduct an assessment tests in order to determine knowledge assimilation level of subject programs of our students between April and May of this year.
However, State inspectorate for supervision of quality in educationwith consent of the Government has announced that due to the spread of coronavirus infection (COVID-19) and the temporary suspension of students from classes in educational institutions, the visit of an expert commission and specialists of the competent authority to the university, as well as stages of assessment of knowledge of subject programsprocess will be resumed by the end of this year onceclasses are fully started at the institutions.
For your information:with the permission of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the state accreditation validity term for higher education institutions undergoing the process of state accreditation, including Inha University in Tashkent have been extended until December 31, 2020 established by the Resolution the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on June 7, 2019 No.470.
