1. Ibrokhim, you are in the group of the best students for a trip to Georgia. Tell us more about the trip.
The cyber security training camp is over and this is an honor for me to be a part of it. It was held in Georgia from 18th to 25th January. During camp, we had a lot of valuable lessons in three directions (ethical hacking, cryptography, python). By the end of camp, we had a kind of hackathon (CTF, project work, and Q&A to be exact) which took us around 5 hours. It was captivating even though we completed it at 2 a.m.
Besides classes, we were able to visit two cities: Tbilisi and Bakuriani, and in our spare time, we have been walking around these cities everyday day for hours and had different activities, such as skiing, shopping, playing board games, etc.
2. Who organized the winter camp?
The cyber security camp was organized by IUT with the collaboration of SCSA( Scientific Cyber Security Association). We had incredible mentors during the camp (Mr. Maxim and Mr. George). Besides, lectures they showed us around Georgia and conducted trips to different places, so we really appreciate that.
3. How much do you think the knowledge gained in Inha helped you to win?
In terms of the contest, the intro to IT class helped me a lot during the contest as it has a connection with cyber security. Also, I took the online course ‘Intro to cyber security’ before 1 day of applying to this contest. Basically, the questions were not as hard as it seems to be in the contest even though I did not have experience in this field. I really encourage everyone to take a chance, because you will definitely have positive memories.
4. Tell us about your impressions of the winter camp and the theory that you received during this time. After all, this is the first international student trip from Inha University in Tashkent.
Personally, I have only great impressions about this trip as we got a valuable experience and we had a lot of fun during the camp. We would get up at 9 a.m and have different activities till midnight. Also, I want to admit that I met 11 ambitious individuals with different backgrounds and different perspectives and we could share our experiences.
I want to address huge thanks to IUT, to Muzaffar Djalalov, to all organizers, and of course to representatives of SCSA for such a great opportunity.
