Inha university in Tashkent is one of the youngest leading international universities in Uzbekistan.

In order to provide with high quality education to its students, IUT is looking for potential candidates for teaching positions.

We are looking for faculty members who can teach in English one or two courses listed in the academic curriculum of School of Computer and Information Engineering (SOCIE). Courses to be taught at SOCIE can be found via following link //inha.uz/pages/77

Professional requirements:

– Applicants should have a Ph.D. preferably in the related majors from a university with an education system in English;
– Willing to teach undergraduate students with care and sincerity;
– Teaching experience in a western style university is preferred.

List of required documents as follows:

– Cover letter;
– Detailed CV or resume;
– Copy of the passport;
– Copies of all diplomas and transcripts (Bachelor’s, Master’s Ph.D);
– References;
– Recommendation letter;

After successfully passing document scanning process, shortlisted applicants will be asked to prepare a 10-15 minute lecture to demonstrate teaching skills (demo lecture can be recorded by the applicant and sent to the administration of IUT).

2, General Information

   A. Scheduled Date of Appointment : January 27, 2020 (Appointed as a IURBF researcher for certain period as stipulated

       by the Korean law.)

   B. Master’s or Doctoral degree holder, who can deliver lectures in English, without any disqualification for the

       appointment as the faculty of the private university (Doctoral degree holders preferred)

   C. The initial contract period shall be negotiated and adjusted within three years.

       The initial contract period shall be fixed or changed according to the interim assessment results one year the

       dispatch to the IUT. (However, the educational operation of IUT is subject to a contract between Inha University

       and the Uzbek government, and the terms of the contract may change or the contract may not be renewed.)

   D. Conference calls or video interviews are available for international applicants.

3. Important Notes

   A. The appointee must work at Inha University in Tashkent(IUT), Uzbekistan, and teach at least four classes

       (based on four courses with three credits each) in English every semester.

   B. The dispatched research have separate employment contract with IUT and must remain at IUT, Uzbekistan

       during the semester.

   C. Salaries are subject to separate consultation with IUT.

   D. Part of the contracted annual salary is paid in USD and in local currency UZS at IUT,

       with the remainder paid in KRW. For foreigners, annual salary can be contracted in USD.

   E. Those with fluent English lecture, excellent research records in the last five years or experiences

       in the related industries are preferred

   B. Evaluation Criteria : Suitability in major(20), experiences in education, research

       and industries(20), teaching plan(10), sample lecture video(20), and interview(30)

    (4) Teaching Plan (Designated form)

         Career without the proof of documents is not recognized)

    (7) Copies of Three Major Research Works

         (Within the last 10 years : Based on the application submission deadline) :

         – Journal Article : Abstract (Name of the thesis, Name of the journal, name of the author,

           Authorship classification, Academic association for publication, Year and month of Publication,

    (9) Letter of Recommendation : Recommendations from one or more experts in the relevant field (Free form)
