President of Inha University located in the Republic of Korea, President Cho Myeong Woo, held a meeting with ICT Minister Sherzod Shermatov as part of his visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
It is known that Inha University in Tashkent has been training highly qualified specialists in the fields of “Computer and software engineering” and “Business and logistics”, based on the experience of South Korea.
Based on this, important issues based on in-depth negotiations with Inha University were discussed during the meeting.
In particular, issues related to the launch of a joint project of online degree programs at the Inha University in Tashkent, the opening of new undergraduate study areas, the sending of University employees to the doctoral program, and the introduction of the Inha grant for university students were discussed.
“Initially, when we were establishing Inha University in Tashkent, we aimed only to work for quality. Until now, this university is one of the best universities in Uzbekistan in terms of education. Inha University is justifying itself in training quality personnel”- said ICT Minister Sh. Shermatov at the meeting.
In turn, issues of cooperation in the field of BPO and more involvement of young people in this field were discussed.
