IUT introduced “live” lectures

The IUT management decided to “Liven” the lecture format on the subject “Engineering Ethics” at the Department of “Software and Computer Engineering” from the new semester. With this idea will help employees of different companies and government enterprises, businessmen, and IT sector specialists. The acting rector of IUT, Muzaffar Djalalov, offered the idea of “Live”, lectures.

“The subject is really boring but necessary. Most of the time when we tell a theory, students feeling sleepy already in the middle of the lecture. That is why we decided to “live” this subject. They suggested that practitioners come and share their own experiences. Now such tips will be very useful for 4th-year students, for example, how to conduct interviews at large companies, how to work in a team, how to build relationships with different categories of citizens“, – said Muzaffar Djalalov.

Representatives of different companies and businessmen supported the idea of the head of the university. The more support was expressed by the students themselves, noting the importance and necessity of practical information from the specialists. Today founder and CEO of Newmax Technologies (MyTaxi, Express24, Workly, Maxtrack brands) Akmal Payziev came to IUT to share their experience with students.

* Engineering ethics – it is a section of applied ethics and a system of moral principles, that are applied in practice in engineering. That is defined establish the obligations of engineers to society, clients and the profession. As an academic discipline, it is closely relate to such subjects as philosophy of science, the philosophy of engineering, and the ethics of technology.
