“As you know, Inha University in Tashkent works on the basis of the credit-module system of INHA University in South Korea. The full effectiveness of this system is demonstrated by the results of national accreditation, which makes it possible to assess the activity of the university in all areas. Inha University in Tashkent became the first international university in our country to receive national accreditation.
Today, some of our national universities have already switched to a credit-module system based on international experience. Other universities are on the verge of transition to this system. At the same time, our national universities face a number of issues in the transition to a new system of students’ education, which we need systematically to discuss together. The main goal of today’s event, organized jointly with our partners, is also aimed at this,” the Acting Rector of Inha University in Tashkent Muzaffar Djalalov noted in his speech.
The International Educational Forum was organized as part of the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On measures to reform the management in the field of higher and secondary specialized education” dated July 11, 2019 No. 5763.
The purpose of the forum is the exchange of experience between universities on accreditation, licensing and the implementation of a credit-module system in higher education.
Inha University in Tashkent prepared interesting sessions, discussions and seminars related to the main topic of the forum. The Forum was attended by about 200 guests, 50 rectors of universities of our country.
During the plenary sessions, mutual cooperation between universities, the implementation of the experience of branches of foreign universities in the curricula of local universities, in particular the implementation of a credit-module system, as well as the achievements of information and communication technologies in educational processes were discussed.
