Professor Dr. Abdul Rahim Nasir of Inha University in Tashkent received the highest award at international summits in Bhutan and Russia.

Dr. Abdul Rahim Nasir, Dean and Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Inha University in Tashkent received the highest award at the 3rd Summit of Asian Leaders, held on June 18-22, 2019 in Thimphu, Bhutan.

The professor was awarded the PRIDE OF ASIA Award for outstanding achievements in computer science and engineering by Honorary Minister of Labor and Human Resources Ugyen Dorji.

Professor Nasir presented his point of view on “The role of higher education in Asia’s emerging growth engine”. He also presented a model of education at the INHA University, which is recognized as the most successful model in Central Asia with the joint cooperation of the government of Uzbekistan and South Korea. The government of Bhutan expressed its appreciation for the development of such a reputable IT University in a short period of time.
 
Also, Professor Abdul Rahim Nasir was the guest of honor and keynote speaker at the International Summit on the theme “The globalization of economic and social development”, which was held in Moscow on June 29, 2019. He received the highest award and was awarded the prestigious “Iconic Achievers Award” for outstanding achievements in engineering education. He delivered a keynote presentation on the “Scenario of Higher Education in Asia”. The summit was also attended by high-ranking officials and delegates from Moscow, Russia and Asian countries.

It should be noted that Professor Nasir was officially accepted as a member of the US Marquis “Who is Who in the World” in 2013.
The professor has received over 65 prestigious international and national awards and is a senior member of IEEE USA
