IUT hosted the city chess and checkers championship between students

The competition has become a qualifying round for the Universide 2020.

On January 13, IUT hosted the Tashkent Chess and Checkers Championship between all students of Tashkent universities. More than 40 players took part of the competition.

According to the results of the chess games:
1st place winner was Muzaffar Eminjanov student of the National University of Uzbekistan,
2nd place winner -Yoldoshev Hushnudbek the student of Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Mechanization Engineers,
3th place winner – Solijonov Begzod student of Textile and Light Industry Insitute.

Girls team results, the first place winner Hilola Abdukarimova, a student of the National University of Uzbekistan, second place winner to Oydin Karimova, a student of the UWED and 3rd place winner was a student of the Economic University Dildora Alieva.

Also, according to the results of checkers: 1st place winner Sultamurod Nematov, a student of Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Mechanization Engineers, 2nd place winner, Bobur Satarov student of Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry, 3rd place winner Ulugbek Bozorov, student of Tashkent State Pedagogical University. 

Chess results for the girls team: first place winner was a Nasiba Sobirova, student of Tashkent State Pedagogical University, second place winner Farangiz Imomnazarova, a student of the Tashkent Institute of Textile and Light Industry, IUT sudent Mukarram Kadyrova, won the third place.

The Republican Universiade will held January 23-26 in Navoi.
