Scientific-Practical Seminar on the Prospects of Data Science Development in Uzbekistan

On February 26th, a Scientific-Practical Seminar on the prospects of Data Science development in Uzbekistan took place at the Mirzo Ulugbek Foundation for Talented Youth.

During the seminar, speeches were delivered by the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations, Kongratbay Sharipov; the Minister of Digital Technologies, Sherzod Shermatov; and the Rector of Inha University in Tashkent, Muzaffar Djalalov.

Additionally, presentations were given by the Head of the Master’s Program in Business Analysis at the International Westminster University, Jumanov A.; representatives from Skillbox (Russia), Netcom (Turkey); students from Inha University in Tashkent, including winners of the mGowaward 2023 competition, winners of the Prezident Tech Award 2023 , winners of the Open Data Challenge 2023, representatives from the ML community of Inha University in Tashkent, Cyber Club, and UZUM Market.

The seminar was organized for young students enrolled in the Data Science course and potential employers, aiming to explore the requirements and needs of the labor market through the integration of IT and specialized disciplines.
