Dilmurod, tell us about your journey after graduating from Inha University in Tashkent?
After my third year, I started looking for career opportunities. To gain hands-on experience, I started an internship at Udevs and was promoted as I gained experience. Then Epam came to the Uzbek market, and I started working on international projects. Not so long ago I received a good job offer abroad.
We know that you are currently in Germany. Was it difficult to adapt to a new country?
I really liked the German way of life and nature. My journey to Germany began when the “Momox” recruiting manager wrote to me on LinkedIn.
In Germany, there is a high demand for software engineers, so the country’s visa system is simplified for highly qualified specialists.
When it comes to job hunting, programmers can get many job offers in their field with a relocation package.
We know that you have recently received an offer from a world-famous company. Tell us more about it?
Yes, I work for Tesla. Tesla employees are highly qualified and knowledgeable in their field. Our task is to work together to achieve common goals. Tesla has a reputation for being a fast-growing and innovative company. My team is working very hard and is in charge of the production lines, so we have a lot of work to do. Every week, each Giga factory sets a goal for all employees. For example, Giga Berlin has set a goal of producing 3,000 cars a week and 3,500 next week. You’ve probably heard of Elon Musk’s work ethic. I already felt it in my team.
The company pays great attention to sustainable development and environmental responsibility, employees share these values and contribute to the company’s efforts to reduce environmental impact.
As one of the successful graduates of Inha University in Tashkent, what wishes and advice can you give to current students?
The first thing I want to tell students is that learning is a very important and valuable period in life. This is the time when you can develop your knowledge and skills, shape your thinking and acquire new perspectives on the world. Therefore, I advise you to make every effort to study, try to study the material qualitatively and systematically, and also not be afraid to ask questions to professors. Secondly, you need to be confident in yourself and not be afraid to take risks. University is a place where you can study different areas of knowledge, try yourself in different fields of activity, and find your place in life.
