A meeting was held at Inha University in Tashkent between the Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sherzod Shermatov, the IUT management, a delegation from INHA University (South Korea) and the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea.

The parties discussed key areas for the development of the IT sector and the strengthening of Uzbek-Korean cooperation. The minister noted the rapid growth of the industry: the number of Korean IT companies in Uzbekistan will increase from 8 to about 30 by the end of this year.

Special attention was given to expanding development cooperation in the fields of information technology and the creative industry, including new initiatives aimed at developing innovation, supporting talent, and enhancing bilateral partnerships in these rapidly evolving sectors.
