On September 20, the Academy of Korea IT Alliance (AKITA), the Korean IT faculty at Turin Polytechnic University in Tashkent, was officially inaugurated.
The 2+2 dual degree program, organized in collaboration with Yeungnam University in Korea, allows students to study IT at Korean universities, intern at IT companies, and enhance their qualifications. This program is designed to help students gain practical experience that complements their theoretical knowledge. Additionally, students will have the chance to intern at major Korean IT firms.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives from Uzbekistan and Korea, including the rector of Inha University in Tashkent, who extended best wishes for the academy’s successful development.
AKITA aims to stimulate educational innovation in Uzbekistan by training high-level IT specialists based on the Korean university model and in accordance with international standards.
