The Global Business Services Forum 2024 commenced today, bringing together over 200 industry leaders and partners from across the globe. The forum emerged as a landmark event dedicated to developing the outsourcing potential of Central Asia, with a particular focus on Uzbekistan.
Muzaffar Djalalov, the Rector of Inha University in Tashkent, participated in the forum. Participants discussed current issues in outsourcing, prospects for its development in the region, and shared experiences and best practices.
In his welcome address, Sherzod Shermatov, Minister of Digital Technologies, underscored the government’s commitment to creating a favorable climate for the development of the IT industry and stimulating the export of outsourcing services. He also highlighted that Uzbekistan possesses all the necessary resources and potential to become one of the leading outsourcing hubs globally.
Closing the event, Farhod Ibragimov, CEO of IT-Park, noted that exactly 5 years ago, IT-Park commenced its operations and continues contributing to the country’s advancement.
The “Techno Expo 2024” exhibition took place as part of the event, showcasing key players in Uzbekistan’s IT and outsourcing sectors, alongside leading universities. The stand of Inha University in Tashkent attracted significant attention, allowing participants to learn about our activities, ask questions, and establish partnerships.
