On October 24, 2022, one of the main events of the year, ICTWEEK Uzbekistan 2022, a week of information and communication technologies, started in Samarkand.
It should be noted that the week of information and communication technologies “ICTWeek Uzbekistan” takes place on October 24-27, 2022 in Samarkand, and is organized in order to further stimulate the development of information and communication technologies, the information security and software market, the transformation of Uzbekistan into a regional IT hub, demonstrations achievements, opportunities and benefits achieved as a result of the introduction of the digital economy and the “Electronic Government” system in the republic, as well as discussion of practical results and development trends in the field.
The new international tourist center “Silk Road Samarqand” will become a meeting place for large foreign and local companies, where participants will present their new technological solutions. More than 60 large foreign companies will take part in the event.
The team of Inha University in Tashkent, which included employees, student volunteers, as well as the management of the university, also takes part in ICTWEEK Uzbekistan 2022. In particular, IUT presented its stand, where everyone can get information about the university, as well as get advice on admission. Also, within the framework of “ICTWEEK Uzbekistan 2022”, IUT participates in the “IT Education Summit” – where participants will discuss the implementation of world experience in the field of IT education. In particular, the rector of Inha University in Tashkent Muzaffar Djalalov is the moderator of one of the sessions of the Summit, and the Vice-Rector of IUT Professor Soobong Shin will make a presentation.
The ICT week “ICTWEEK Uzbekistan 2022” has been held annually since 2004. Over the past 18 years, this event has traditionally combined a number of specialized events into a single format.
