​​Meeting with representatives of Sturgeon Capital Ltd

On December 12, 2022, IT Park hosted a meeting with representatives of Sturgeon Capital Ltd.

The Ministry of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Plug&Play, IT Park Uzbekistan, and Inha University in Tashkent took an active part in this meeting.

The purpose of the meeting is to discuss up-to-date information on current developments and projects carried out in the IT/startup ecosystem of Uzbekistan.

During the meeting, the rector of Inha University in Tashkent, Muzaffar Djalalov, discussed further cooperation with Sturgeon Capital Ltd, IT talent development programs, and presented a certificate to representatives of Sturgeon Capital Ltd as a token of gratitude.

It should be noted that Sturgeon Capital is a British investment company with more than 10 years of experience in investing in the New Silk Road region in Central Asia and the Caucasus. The company annually allocates grants for students of Inha University in Tashkent.

In October of this year, Hasan Rashidov and Ekaterina Muminova, 3rd and 4th-year students of Inha University in Tashkent, won a scholarship from the company covering tuition costs.
