On November 23, the 8th Graduation Ceremony for graduates of the 2024/2025 academic year took place at Inha University in Tashkent.

This year, Inha University in Tashkent graduated 288 bachelors in Computer and Software Engineering and Business and Logistics. The third graduation of MBA in Digital Transformation undergraduates also took place — 19 specialists successfully completed the program.

The ceremony was attended by a representative delegation from INHA University of the Republic of Korea and the Jeongseok Inha Foundation, as well as distinguished guests. Among the honorary participants were the President of INHA University, Professor Cho Myung-woo, Rector of Inha University in Tashkent – Bobur Abdullaev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Uzbekistan – Won Do-yeon, Minister of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan – Sherzod Khotamovich Shermatov, heads of Inha structural divisions in Tashkent and Korea, representatives of the faculty and the Alumni Association.

The ceremony opened with the triumphant introduction of state and university flags. After a minute of silence, the national anthems of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea were played in memory of Dr. Naseer.

President of INHA University – Cho Myung-woo, Rector of Inha University in Tashkent – Bobur Abdullaev, Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Uzbekistan Won Do-yeon, and representatives of ministries delivered welcoming speeches to the participants. In their addresses, they noted the contribution of Inha University to the training of highly qualified personnel for Uzbekistan, and also stressed the importance of international academic partnership between the two countries.

During the ceremony, awards were presented to the best graduates for the highest academic achievements, leadership qualities, innovative projects and active participation in the life of the university. The awards were presented by the heads of INHA, the Ministry of Digital Technologies, the Ministry of Higher Education and the Rector of Inha University in Tashkent.

After that, the main event of the day took place — the graduation ceremony. Each graduate received a diploma from the hands of INHA University President – Cho Myung-woo, as well as a commemorative gift from Rector – Bobur Abdullaev. The ceremony ended with a video message from the teachers, a speech by the student representative of the year and the final presentation of the class of 2025. After the official part, graduates and honored guests took memorable photos.
