On April 21, a two-day Rector’s Cup-2025 hackathon dedicated to developing innovative solutions in the field of virtual assistants and artificial intelligence in the Uzbek language was held at Inha University in Tashkent. It should be noted that the hackathon was organized at the initiative of the Head of State to stimulate startup projects in such areas as artificial intelligence, robotics, and cybersecurity.
The welcoming speech today was delivered by the Rector of Inha University in Tashkent, Bobur Sagdullaev, as well as Tursunboy Mahkamov (Ipak Yuli Bank), Umidjon Abduazimov (Asia Alliance Bank), Fazliddin Anvarov (Ministry of Digital Technologies of the Republic of Uzbekistan), Sardor Kadyrov (Yandex Uzbekistan), Azam Gafurov (UZCERT, Cybersecurity Center).

For two days, the students worked under the guidance of mentors on creating projects. Following the hackathon, the jury determined the winners in two categories:

Reward: 30,000,000 sum from Ipak Yuli bank + 5,000,000 sum voucher for UzbekVoice.ai courses
