Students and graduates of Inha University in Tashkent have won $130,000 at the President Tech Award

The Karmon AI startup team — university graduates Khabibulloh Khallokov, Jonibek Yarashov, Murodjon Mirfayzullaev and Bahodirkhon Khamidov — took 1st place in the Entrepreneurship & FinTech category and received a $100,000 grant for project development.

Karmon AI is a fintech platform powered by artificial intelligence, featuring an AI assistant for personal finance management and aimed at improving financial literacy and financial discipline.

In the AI nomination, the Lexora project team — Azizbek Fattoev, Khusrav Abdujalalov and Mirzoqub Rashidov — took 3rd place and received a $30,000 grant. The project focuses on developing an AI assistant for lawyers to simplify work with legal information and documents.

The award ceremony was attended by the Minister of Digital Technologies of Uzbekistan, Sherzod Shermatov, who personally presented the awards to the winners.
