The Google I/O Extended 2023 conference was held at IUT!

On July 8, the Google I/O 2023 Extended conference was held at Inha University in Tashkent.

Google I/O Extended is an annual developer-focused conference hosted by Google to discuss the development of open technologies and Google services such as Android, Chrome, Chrome OS, Google APIs, Google Web Toolkit, App Engine, etc.

I/O Extended was founded in 2015 by IUT students and is now known as GDG Tashkent, one of the largest IT communities in Uzbekistan and Central Asia.

The rector of Inha University in Tashkent, Muzaffar Djalalov, delivered a welcoming speech.

The I/O Extended conference is intended for developers. There were many international and local experts present for presentations, sessions, and office hours where everyone had the opportunity to ask an expert in a specific area of interest.

Leading specialists in the field of information technology and start-up projects in Uzbekistan participated.

It should be noted that this year the conference was attended by a record number of participants, more than 1500👏🏼
