IUT sent humanitarian aid to the victims of the flood in Sardobe

On May 4, the acting rector of IUT Muzaffar Djalalov went to the Mirzachul district of the Jizzakh region, to visit the victims of the flood at the Sardobe. About 200 people were temporarily settled in two kinder gardens. The acting rector and managers of the University held the meeting with population and learned about the emergency needs. All information sent to Tashkent, where charity aid began on Sunday.

On Monday, a convoy with humanitarian cargo left IUT in the Jizzakh region. All the necessary things for the victims – things, hygiene items, food-were quickly collected by employees and teachers of the IUT.

“In these difficult days, we must unite and help to each other. People were left without anything, many of them lost their homes, lost money, documents, livestock, which was the only source of their maintenance.We are here they are not alone with their troubles. We all will help you. We all and authorities-will do everything possible to ensure that all the return to their normal lives,” said acting rector Muzaffar Djalalov.

Today, 69 people have been placed in kinder garden # 13 and another 121 are in kinder garden #6. People were provided with three meals a day. The column of the University delivered the necessary things for the first time.
