In order to popularize and improve social, spiritual and educational activities regarding 5 initiatives of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, (the third initiative “Organization of effective technology and the Internet use by the Uzbek population and youth” and the fifth“ Ensuring the employment of women ”).
On the 19th of August, 2019, Inha University in Tashkent hosted the opening ceremony of the women’s innovation month – “ITWomenUz”. This event was organized by the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan in cooperation with Mirzo Ulugbek Innovation Center, the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications, Inha University in Tashkent and the Tashkent University of Information Technology named after Muhammad al-Khorezmi.
The purpose of the innovational month for women is to attract women into the modern information and communication technologies field, provide educational programs related to mobile, website, software products development, computer graphics and design study and personality development as a programmer.
Starting from August 19 to 24, Inha University in Tashkent will hold seminars for 160 participants.
Training sessions are held in the following areas:
- mobile application development ;
- website creation;
- computer graphics and design;
- software products development .
After the educational program the contest among participants will be held in the next nominations: “Best Mobile Application”, “Best Website”, “Best Programmer”, “Best Designer”, however the contest winner will be awarded with valuable prizes.
Moreover, women which is aiming to start an entrepreneurial activity in the field of information and communication technologies will be provided with loan perks.
