On January 29, seminar-workshop “Through information and communication technologies to a stable family” took place at Inha University in Tashkent (IUT).
Speaking at the event, Director of the Scientific-Practical Research Center “Oila” under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan Scientific, the member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis Dilorom Toshmuhamedova, First Deputy Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of Uzbekistan Olimjon Umarov, acting Rector of the Inha University in Tashkent Muzaffar Djalalov and others outlined that strengthening the family institution is a guarantee of achieving certain outcomes in the future.
It is worth noting that these training seminars are held in the framework of another new project implemented by the Center together with the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications and, Inha University in Tashkent (IUT).
The goal of the project is to improve knowledge and broaden the worldviews of family members who are faced with various family problems using modern information and communication technologies, assist in obtaining information, job search, strengthen self-confidence with own strength, and social life.
It should be noted that the first pilot project of these training courses initiated by the Oila Center in cooperation with Inha University in Tashkent was successfully implemented in March-July last year in the Mirzo-Ulugbek district in Tashkent. A group of girls from family members who found themselves in a difficult life situation received basic knowledge on the use of information and communication technologies, in particular, computer science, which helped them in finding employment.
At the same time, during the event, an exchange of views took place on the involvement of experienced trainers in the project, the formation of themes and programs of classes, methodological support and the launching of activities.
During the event, girls who successfully completed training courses were presented with gifts and certificates.
