The educational project “Seeds for the Future” was created by Huawei and is held for the sixth year in a row. Taking into account the current situation with the pandemic in the world, this year the “Seeds for the Future” project is being carried out online, but this in no way diminishes its value and information content.
This year, 30 selected students from Uzbekistan, including 11 students from Inha University in Tashkent, have started their studies online. For 5 days, the participants were able to take courses on studying 5G technologies, cloud computing, Artificial Intelligence, HMS, as well as take virtual tours of the headquarters and bases of Huawei in China and get acquainted with the culture and traditions of the PRC. For greater interactivity, students were invited to online lectures from Huawei experts from headquarters as well as the regional office.
The “Seeds for the Future” project not only provides access to knowledge, but also opens up employment opportunities for future ICT specialists, so graduates of the 2018 and 2019 programs after graduating from the university completed internships at Huawei in Uzbekistan, and some of them have already become employees of the Uzbek office, thereby continuing to contribute to the development of digital Uzbekistan.
It gives me great pleasure to note that 11 students from Inha University in Tashkent participate in this innovative project for the first time.
Through projects such as “Seeds for the Future”, students have the opportunity to get acquainted with Huawei solutions and products, technologies that are widely used not only in Uzbekistan, but also abroad.
Inha University in Tashkent and Huawei have been cooperating since 2016. And I am glad that we are directing our joint efforts to support the talented youth of Uzbekistan. So 5 successful students of the University received a full grant from the company for 4 years of study.
We look forward to further cooperation, the introduction of new projects and thereby increasing the personnel potential of our country in the IT-sphere ”- noted in his speech the acting Rector of Inha University in Tashkent Muzaffar Jalalov.
