Opening of the cybersecurity laboratory at IUT

On April 8, 2022, a cybersecurity laboratory was opened at Inha University in Tashkent.
The event was attended by the employees and management of IUT, as well as the Director of the Center of Cybersecurity  – Olimjon Mirzaev.
The following initiatives will be implemented on the basis of the newly opened cybersecurity laboratory:
– conducting training of students and specialists in cybersecurity;
– organization of a number of practical classes on cybersecurity;
– organization of courses with the involvement of laboratory partners (Cybersecurity Center, Sababa Security).
During the event, the rector of Inha University in Tashkent M.Djalalov and O.Mirzaev discussed issues of interaction between the IUT and the Center of Cybersecurity. The main areas of cooperation were identified: the development of ICT, in particular cybersecurity, the creation of conditions for obtaining in-demand skills and knowledge for students of Inha University in Tashkent, the organization of joint educational initiatives, etc. As part of the event, an agreement on cooperation was signed between Inha University in Tashkent and the Center of Cybersecurity State Unitary Enterprise.
The opening of the laboratory was accompanied by master classes on cybersecurity and information security with the involvement of specialists from the Center of Cybersecurity and IUT students.
