Since September 25, entrance exams to the specialized school for advanced study of ICT named after Muhammad al-Khwarazmiy for the 2020/2021 academic year are being held. Taking into account the coronavirus pandemic, it was decided to conduct entrance exams online using the experience and testing platform of Inha University in Tashkent.
It should be noted that this year Inha University in Tashkent for the first time held entrance exams completely online. Successful experience has shown that it is possible to follow accurate rules of observation and conduct fully clear examinations with the identification of the best applicants from the best.
Exams in a Specialized ICT school name of Muhammad al-Khorazmi as well as in the Inha University in Tashkent was held in two stages. The first stage included online testing and logical tasks that must be completed under the strict control of proctors and experts online,the second stage is an online interview only for students who successfully completed the first task.
“International and local specialists of Inha University in Tashkent also participate in the school’s online exams as experts. We are happy to share the Korean experience of conducting online exams. The admission information system has thought out every detail to avoid cheating and dishonest passing of tests. It takes into account the location of the laptop monitor, phone in recording mode, sound, and much more. Very important and responsible work falls on the shoulders of observers who record all the details of the process. I would like to note that this process of organizing entrance exams is being held in Uzbekistan for the first time,” said first Vice – rector for academic Affairs Lee Dong-Won.
