June 23, 2020 will get in history for Inha University in Tashkent. Today, for the first time, the entrance exams were held in an online .
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, for the first time the entrance exams for the 2020-2021 academic year were held online. All applicants who successfully passed registration were divided into two streams – the faculty of logistics and Computer and software engineering applicants .
At the same time, applicants entered to the online exam using the ZOOM app by the active link , downloaded the exam task to their computer and started solving . This year, there are 6 math questions – and they need to be solved in writing form within 30 minutes. At the end of the time, applicants showed the answer sheet to the observer via ZOOM, and then took a picture of this sheet on their smart phone and send it to the checking Commission. During verification, instances shown via ZOOM and instances sent to email will be checked.
“We can say that the first online entrance exams to Inha University in Tashkent were held. The first students to pass the exam today were applicants for the faculty of logistics. The turnout was 86%. Then , the examination process for applicants of the faculty of Computer and software engineering was began. Yesterday also was successfully held a consultation day , during it everyone was registered and received comprehensive exam information. We will be able to disclose more detailed information only after the announcement of the exam results” commented Rustam Kazakov, General Manager of Inha University in Tashkent for financial issues.
Note that representatives of INHA University in South Korea watched the exam process via ZOOM. No one from the Tashkent University was allowed to observe. There were 56 representatives of the Korean University working on the exam – 28 basics and 28 in the reserve, in case there was a necessity to replace someone from the observers.
