“Sustainable Development Goals Dialogue on Gender Equality in Uzbekistan”

On October 4, the Committee on Women and Gender Equality of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis, the United Nations Office in Uzbekistan held an open dialogue conference on the topic Sustainable Development Goals Dialogue on Gender Equality in Uzbekistan.

As part of this event, the rector of Inha University in Tashkent, Muzaffar Djalalov, made a presentation to the participants of the event on the topic “Current issues of reducing the gap in gender equality in digital Uzbekistan”.

 In his speech, Muzaffar Djalalov spoke in detail about a number of programs and projects aimed at increasing the role of women in society and achieving gender equality within the framework of the “Digital Uzbekistan 2030” strategy.

During the dialogue, opinions were exchanged on the reforms implemented in Uzbekistan to ensure gender equality, strengthen families, expand the rights and opportunities of women, and support their employment.
