The closing ceremony of the Mapathon was held at Inha University in Tashkent

The closing ceremony of the mapathon was held at Inha University in Tashkent on November 26. Over two days, 10 teams collected information on 550 street sections in 64 mahallas and created a database for each mahalla in the Yangiyul district.
The mapathon serves to assess the actual level of drinking water coverage within various projects underway in the district.
The goal of the mapathon is to attract promising young talent to the field of geodesy and cadastre. In particular, volunteers, mostly from higher educational institutions, were invited to organize the mapathon, among whom Inha University students actively participated.
The group presenting the highest and most qualitative dataset in the Yangiyul district was honored at the mapathon’s closing ceremony.
