On October 25, the official opening ceremony of “ICT Expo Uzbekistan 2023” took place – an exhibition of information and communication technologies.
The highlight of the opening ceremony was the awarding of Inha University students as winners of the President Tech Award competition. The winners were awarded 100 thousand US dollars.
Students from Inha University in Tashkent, Maftuna Ziyamova, Yasmine Ablaeva, David Alkamyan, and a student from the Higher School of Economics, Bekhruz Azam, developed the project called “Sog‘ Bo‘l”.
The medical project “Sog‘ Bo‘l” allows users to collect all the results of their medical tests in one place. In turn, artificial intelligence analyzes the indicators and provides a preliminary diagnosis, and a medical history will also be formed. All of this will significantly assist doctors.
“We are very happy about the victory and did not expect to win at all. There were more than 170 teams competing in the competition. We worked hard day and night, and did everything possible to make the project outstanding. Seeing the level of preparation and the organization of ICT WEEK, we understand that our country is becoming the IT hub of Central Asia, and we are very proud to be part of the youth who contribute to this development!” – the winners noted.
