We will try to ensure that the opening of an IT incubation center at Inha University in Tashkent reveals the ideas of talented students and serves as an incentive to create start-up projects.

I hope that Inha University in Tashkent will take an active part as a prestigious institution of higher education in the country and will contribute to the rapid pace of digitalization in our country, ”Acting President said in his welcoming speech. Rector of Inha University in Tashkent Muzaffar Djalalov.

Today is not an easy day – today we will witness the opening of the first IT-Incubation Center in our Republic.

I want to congratulate Inha University in Tashkent and everyone who took part in the opening of such a large-scale project. The long-term goals and objectives of incubation centers are: development of the country's economy; development of high innovative technologies in Uzbekistan; development of innovative small business, providing favorable conditions for conducting project activities for students; building connections between students and experienced professionals; creation of new jobs.

I am sure that this center will not keep you waiting long and will show the first fruits of students in the form of interesting and useful innovative projects. ”, Oleg Pekos, First Deputy Minister for Development of Information Technologies and Communications of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Digital Economy and Electronic Government, said in his speech.

“We would like such IT-Incubation Centers to be in every region of the Republic, in every higher educational institution. Of course, we believe that such centers should be organized not only at Universities, but also gradually at schools, in all educational institutions. At the same time, I would like to emphasize that the Ministry of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan is ready to provide financial, material, moral support to such initiatives, youth organizations. Thank you all for your attention and we wish you success in the work of the Incubation Center ”, – congratulated the Deputy Minister of Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan Olimjon Tuychiev.

“First of all, I congratulate all the staff of the University and all our students. The idea to create an IT-Incubator has been in the plans for several years, and today, when everything is ready and implemented, I think it will be the first international business incubator. Of course, I wish all our young students success, I think that you are implementing all your projects, startups, together with specialists in this field. Thank you very much ”, – congratulated the head of the Agency for the Development of Presidential, Creative and Specialized Schools under the Cabinet of Ministers Khilola Umarova.

“Such business incubators have a huge impact on the development of the economy. I think that if we support the work of scientists, students, we will be able to achieve the expected results in the future. I often visit Inha University in Tashkent, we always consult on the implementation of new ideas in the IT industry. Personally, the Agency for the Development of Public Services develops the last 3-4 platforms with students of this University. This is a great achievement, we have previously done similar projects with foreign specialists. And today our youth are working on these projects.

I think that the future, the development of Inha University in Tashkent will be accompanied by the development of Uzbekistan. Thanks again to everyone, ”Otabek Khasanov, First Deputy Director of the Civil Service Development Agency under the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, noted in his speech.

“Today, the incubation process plays a very important role in the creation of entrepreneurial institutions, the development of innovative entrepreneurship. I am glad that now such a structure for supporting entrepreneurship is being created in our country. I think this is just the beginning of the journey. Our country has created a set of incubators, accelerators, which exchange ideas and develop ideas. Congratulations, we started this journey. Thank you so much. “- the founder of the korzinka.uz supermarket chain, the City Taxi taxi service, the Red Tag clothing store chain, Zafar Khashimov

“I accepted this initiative with great pleasure, as I myself studied at the Faculty of Computer Technologies of the National University, which was the first to open in Uzbekistan. When we studied at the university, we knew that the knowledge of students at the IT University is ahead of the knowledge of teachers. Because the students were practicing and the technology was changing rapidly. Therefore, I believe that an IT-oriented business should be connected with real life. Using IT in practice, in business, you can improve the knowledge of not only students, but also teachers. We know that Uzbekistan, the world needs an IT service, and this is still not satisfied ”- founder of Mytaxi, Workly, Express24, Akmal Paiziev.

“Dear guests, participants of the event, I am glad to see you all. In 2017, the head of state gave very large benefits in the IT field, these are the same tax benefits, customs benefits. In the period from 2017 to 2018, 200 enterprises were registered, of which 100 out of 200 enterprises generated income, the remaining 100 did not generate income. We began to wonder about the reason for this. Due to the fact that the benefits were exempt from taxes, many students were registered during the student period or after graduation, with the opportunity to implement their projects.

Our joint work with Inha University in Tashkent to open an incubation center will give another impetus for students to create and continue to develop their projects. The main work is just beginning, now it is necessary to continue development, ”concluded the director of IT PARK Farhod Ibragimov.

As part of the solemn part of the event, the cutting of the red ribbon by the leaders of Oleg Pekos, Muzaffar Djalalov and Farhod Ibragimov took place, after which the presentation of the IT-Incubation Center took place.

The IT Incubation Center of Inha University in Tashkent is a platform for the development of youth start-up projects, the purpose of which is to create favorable conditions for training and development of IT projects at the University, to create motivation for young people to implement innovative solutions that will be in demand by the economy and the social sphere.

It should be noted that incubation centers at higher educational institutions are necessary in order to increase the quality and number of innovative projects created among talented youth. Incubation centers, in turn, will create favorable conditions for students for the emergence of effective activities of small innovative projects that implement original scientific and technical ideas.

The event also hosted an innovative exhibition of Inha University in Tashkent, where teachers and talented students presented their own innovative developments.
