Contest of Innovative Projects

On 26 February 2019, awarding ceremony of winners of the second Republican contest “100 Best Innovative Projects of Women of Uzbekistan”, organized by the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan, was held at the Inha University in Tashkent (IUT).

The contest was attended by representatives of international organizations, heads of ministries, agencies, employees of the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan, members of the Center of Women Inventors of Uzbekistan, the Expert Council and media representatives.

It is no secret to anyone that the role of women in the development of a harmonious, educated, cultural, spiritual, moral and economically developed society is infinitely great. While understanding and accepting this highest goal, the Women’s Committee of Uzbekistan and the Center of Women Inventors of Uzbekistan create all the necessary conditions for talented women, while providing them with ongoing support in implementing their innovative projects, enhancing innovation and protecting their intellectual property rights.

An innovative idea is a kind of catalyst for a breakthrough project with global market potential. Such projects modernize or close the old ones, bring up the innovative thinking of society, that is why the Committee of Women of Uzbekistan and the Center of Women Inventors of Uzbekistan organized the second Republican contest “100 Best Innovative Projects of Women of Uzbekistan”.

At the first stage of the competition, more than 4,000 technical projects, innovative proposals and inventions of scientific and practical significance for the national economy are presented. Participants were students and pupils, women – inventors, innovators, engineers, programmers, designers, doctors, pharmacists, specialists, and women entrepreneurs.

At the final stage of the second Republican contest “100 Best Innovative Projects of Women of Uzbekistan”, more than 300 participants submitted their competitive projects for evaluation to the Republican Expert Council. From the submitted projects at the final stage, 100 best projects were selected, the authors of which became the winners of the competition.

Inha University in Tashkent (IUT) is particularly proud of students who reached the final of the competition: Khurshida Bakhtiyorkhujaeva, Saodat Sadirbaeva, Malika Rakhimova, Ummatoy Yuldasheva.
