The rector of Inha University spoke at the opening ceremony of the youth IT forum and talked about cooperation between Uzbekistan and Belarus in the field of ICT and education.
From November 18 to 23, events in Tashkent and Khiva will be held as part of the II Uzbekistan-Belarus youth IT forum. The program includes visits to the IT park, discussion of areas of cooperation in the field of culture and education, discussions on youth entrepreneurship, information technology and the volunteer movement. In addition, the Belarusian delegation will visit Khiva and Urgench during their visit to Uzbekistan, where they will familiarize guests with the sights of ancient cities, as well as hold several sessions to discuss bilateral cooperation.
In the framework of the opening ceremony of the event, acting Rector of Inha University in Tashkent Muzaffar Djalalov. He noted that Uzbekistan shows a high interest in the best practices of Belarus in the implementation of digital, information and communication technologies and programming. The head of the university spoke about the cooperation of the university with various Belarusian organizations, in particular, the signing of agreements and memoranda with EPAM and the Belarusian State Academy of Communications. At the end of his speech, Muzaffar Djalalov invited the Belarusian delegation to Inha University in Tashkent, as well as guests and forum participants for the upcoming event to launch the One Million Uzbek Coders project.
The five-day IT forum, launched today, promises to be a useful and effective platform for young people of the two countries. Already today, within the framework of the forum, a memorandum was signed between the “Kamalak” Children’s Organization of Uzbekistan and the Belarusian Republican Pioneer Organization.
Speaking at the opening of the forum, the chairman of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan Alisher Sadullaev noted that this forum should not be one of the passing events. At the session, specially invited domestic and Belarusian entrepreneurs who were able to build their business on the basis of IT solutions, and who will tell their success stories, share their experiences with young people.
