The opening ceremony of the King Sejong Institute under Inha University in Tashkent

On September 30, the opening ceremony of the «King Sejong Institute» Korean Language Center was held at Inha University in Tashkent. Among the guests who took part in the ceremony were representatives of government organizations, high-ranking employees of companies, representative offices and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea.

The rector of Inha University in Tashkent, the Dean of the King Sejong Institute Kim Jung Ho, as well as the Director of Korean Education Center Pang Chu Man, made their welcoming speeches.

As part of the event, a colorful presentation of the opening of the King Sejong Institute under Inha University in Tashkent took place. In particular, a musical performance under traditional Korean musical instruments, a Fan dance and a dynamic K-POP dance were performed.

The King Sejong Institute is an educational project founded to promote the Korean language and culture. The initiative is named after the fourth king of the ruling dynasty, who invented the Korean alphabet.

The residents of Tashkent will have an excellent opportunity to get acquainted with the Korean culture, master the Korean language and even become a teacher of the Korean language.

The King Sejong Institute develops and provides standardized curriculum and student assessment system so that everyone can learn Korean easily and systematically.

A branch of the King Sejong Institute under Inha University in Tashkent was established by the INHA University in Korea and the Korean Sejong Foundation.
