The SCO STUDENTS CUP International Cybersport Championship has started at Inha University in Tashkent

From May 30 to June 2, Inha University in Tashkent will host the playoffs and the final of the SCO STUDENTS CUP cybersport championship among the SCO member states as part of the Summit of this organization.
The event is organized by IT Park with the support of the Ministry for the Development of Information Technologies and Communications, the Uzbekistan Cybersport Association and Inha University in Tashkent.
On May 30, the opening ceremony of the international tournament “SCO Student Cup” took place.
The Minister of Information Technologies and Communications Sherzod Shermatov, President of the Cybersport Association of Uzbekistan Donier Juraev, Deputy National Coordinator of the Republic of Uzbekistan for SCO Affairs Timur Abdullin made welcoming speeches.
In CS tournaments: GO and DOTA 2 are attended by 50 teams from Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Russia and Uzbekistan. In total, more than 1000 cybersport players took part in the tournament.
The total prize fund of the tournament is 200 million sums. The winners of each discipline will receive 50 million sums, the second-place teams will receive 30 million sums, and the teams that took the 3rd and 4th lines of the final table will receive 10 million sums.
CS Team Award Ceremony: GO and DOTA 2 will take place on June 2.
