Memorandum

Within the framework of the visit of the President of the Republic of Korea to the Republic of Uzbekistan on the 19th of April a memorandum on cooperation in the fields of ” Establishment of Healthcare information system Infrastructure in Uzbekistan by the Suport of ODA (Offisial Development Assistancr)” was signed between Inha University in Tashkent, Tashkent Medical Academy and Inha University Hospital.

The main objective of the telemedicine project “Digital Health Care” isthe development of digital health care in the Republic of Uzbekistan based on the experience of the Republic of Korea. In particular, the implementation of telemedicine consultations by transmitting medical information via telecommunications channels. Consultations can be carried out both in “deferred” mode and in real time.

As a result of this project, there will be achieved the optimization of business processes in the provision of medical services in Uzbekistan. Including the introduction of information technology in the process of determining diagnoses for various diseases and providing advice remotely based on the experience of the Republic of Korea.

“With special honor, we want to express our gratitude for the immence trust placed in us via jointly launching the first innovative project in the field of Telemedicine. We hope and believe that it will be successfully implemented and will become an integral part for every Uzbek people,” – emphasized by the acting Rector of Inha University, Mr. Muzaffar Djalalov.
