The President of South Korea visited Inha University in Tashkent

April 18, 2019 will be marked forever in the history of Inha University in Tashkent. Since the establishment of the University (October 2, 2014), the President of South Korea Mr. Moon Jae-in accompanied by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mr. Abdulla Aripov visited Inha University in Tashkent for the first time. 

The head of state of South Korea has met with leaders of the University, headed by the acting Rector Mr. Muzaffar Djalalov.
Mr. Moon Jae Ying has familiarized himself with the facilities and conditions of the University, delivered a welcoming speech during which he elaborated on the work of a joint project, Telemedicine, which is being developed between Inha University in Tashkent and Inha University in South Korea at present. In his closing remarks, Mr. Moon Jae-in thanked everyone for the warm welcome, wished success in the future plans for the development of the University and the expansion of educational relations between the Republic of Korea and the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Presently, 1,321 students are studying at Inha University in Tashkent. The University offers undergraduate degree in 2 spheres – Computer Engineering and Logistics. It is worth mentioning that since the year of 2014, the number of students has increased 10 times. A hundred specialists have already graduated from Inha University in Tashkent, 85 of them are employed at private or state organizations within their specialty and the remaining 15 continued their education in Master’s degree at top universities of South Korea and other countries across the world.
