IUT holds press briefing and Open Doors Day

On March 16, 2019, two major events were held at Inha University in Tashkent (IUT), which are inextricably linked with each other. Spring Open Doors Day for future students and their parents, as well as a press briefing on “New admission conditions for the 2019-2020 academic year”. As part of the press briefing, management of IUT spoke in detail about what the University has achieved so far, described its current position and future plans, along with significant changes that are planned for 2019-2020, including: admission for new academic year, contract-based and scholarship-based entrance examinations, benefits for international students, as well as the opening of a master’s degree and new faculties.

Acting rector Muzaffar Djalalov, 1st Vice-rector of Academic affairs Dr. Cho Wu Sug and General Manager of support of active partnership, innovative ideas and technologies Khilola Umarova gave detailed insight in terms of the change in the process of entrance examinations at IUT.

In 2019, the entrance examinations will be held 3 times at Inha University in Tashkent, which significantly increases the likelihood of becoming an IUT student, as each applicant will have 3 opportunities for admission, if not lucky the first time.

Applicants, who have successfully passed the 1st entrance examination on a contract-basis and paid a certain percentage of the total amount of the contract, will get a chance to make use of all their knowledge on the 2nd day of the examination on a grant basis.

Applicants who happen not to have a certificate of IELTS or TOEFL for any reason during registration and/or taking the entrance examinations, will be admitted, but with the condition of presenting those documents before the expiration date illustrated on the University’s website://inha.uz/en/ .

In addition, great attention was paid to the benefits of international students. Thus, for overseas students, starting from the 2019-2020 academic year, the entrance examination will consist only of an interview, and the amount of the contract is significantly decreased.

Today, March 16, 2019 Inha University in Tashkent opened its doors to more than 1,300 students of lyceums, colleges, secondary schools and their parents. This day at Inha University in Tashkent is not just an open Day, but also a day that opened endless opportunities for potential students, who want to build their careers in the field of IT – technologies.
