Kudratillo, can you tell us about your journey after graduating from Inha University in Tashkent?
I must admit, I was one of the students who studied at the university on a grand basis. After graduation, I started working as a backend programmer at the Information Systems branch of the sponsor of my studies, “Uzbektelecom”. There I created backend services for the MyUztelecom application and other internal services that reached millions of users. My team consisted of experts in their field, and the experience gained helped me a lot to get to Amazon.
We know that you are currently in Germany. Was it difficult to adapt to a new country?
It has not been a month since I came to Germany with my family, but we have adapted quite well. At first, it was difficult to get used to the fact that the weather is cold and many shops close early and do not work on Sundays.
We know that you recently received an offer from a well-known company. Can you tell us about the selection process and your career?
It all started when an Amazon recruiter made an offer through Linkedin. I submitted my resume to the Amazon job portal. Then, a few days later, I went through an online test, and there was also a virtual interview and team selection. All these steps have been successfully completed.
Many companies with millions of users use Amazon Web Services. Amazon Web Services employees work tirelessly to provide customers with seamless cloud services and implement many innovations in them.
As one of the successful graduates of Inha University in Tashkent, what wishes and advice can you give to current students?
Inha provides excellent conditions for students. Team up with other students and gain practical experience. Try to intern at leading companies. And remember, you will succeed!
